10 STRONG is HoopStrength's 10 month long team. It is an extended season that will cover the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. Designed to help teams prepare for the Spring season.
10 STRONG will be running from September until June. We know how difficult it is to finally start to gain momentum as a team once you are a few months into playing together when it's such a short spring season. This set up will allow the team dynamics to start to fall into place earlier on and to create a better system within the teams. We will hold tryouts in June, to then give players the summer off and come back and get the season started in September. There will only be one team created per age group and there will be more opportunity for this team to travel together as a club. There will be fundraising opportunities put in place to alleviate the costs that come with travel. The teams will practice weekly, attend academy sessions (run by multiple different coaches), enter in tournaments throughout the year and then be prepped and ready with their team already in place for the Spring club Season. If your player chooses to play on a community team in addition to this team, they will need to prioritize this team first. There will be a shorter option for high school aged players, playing from September to November and then coming right back into it in March.
